Reasons of Failure at School

I'll be pointing out 4 main reasons that cause failure at school besides physical and mental disorders that can't be helped.

The first and the biggest reason is the education itself, the education system to be precise. The present education provides students with books with unoriginal information in it to keep in mind until the exam and a little space to think by ourselves about the topics. What I'm trying to say is, the education system works on students that can memorize facts instead of learning them by practice, except in some countries. And there's an even bigger problem with the education system. Have you ever realized that there are millions of students who don't know what they are capable of thus making them not knowing what to do for a living? I bet you did. In an ideal education system, I believe, the first part of it concerns individuals' personalities and capabilities instead of maths and stuff. Children should explore and know themselves first to have an idea of what do they like to do and to know who they really are. And after having them knowing themselves and what they enjoy to do, they should get introduced to jobs and what a job is. Thus they will know what to achieve to make their goals into reality.

After mentioning the drawbacks related to the education system, we should touch on the economic status of the country. It's a bit expensive to be educated you know, especially abroad, we are lucky that it's a bit cheaper to be a student in Turkey compared to the west. Yet it's expensive for most of us, the people of Turkey. Transportation and having a place to stay in are parts of this problem but they are not that big problems as having to pay for books and school materials.

The third reason is one's surroundings. Families want to help their children and being it's a great thing they are not helpful all the time. Sometimes parents may not know their child or not care who they are. What I'm saying is they may want their children to do a specific job for a living without considering their children's liking. This makes everything harder, don't do things like this parents.

The last reason is kind of a positive reason. Maybe you do know, my precious reader, the most wanted requirements of jobs at these times are generally social skills and about practical thinking. Thus one can prioritize improving their social skills, resulting in bad grades.

As you may see, I don't really think students are to blame at all. To conclude, I think we are the ones who are responsible for taking care of our future, our children, our students.
